The only card for The 30 Day Coloring Challenge!

Begin this month I was so  enthusiastic to start the 30 Day Coloring Challenge, unfortunately I was admitted to the hospital twice. The last time for a lung attack of which I am now recovering in a rehabilitation centre.

With a few craft supplies that I have here in the centre, I wanted to make a card for a birthday girl. I hoped that I could finish it before the challenge is over and I could post at least one card. I decided to draw the images myself. The recipient hobby is  genealogy and we bought her a book she wanted for this. That’s why I draw on this card a family tree, books and because she love tea, a big mug of tea.

I coloured everything with my Zig markers and FC Polychromos pencils.
The sentiment on the card is written with a silver gel pen and the shadow with a blue coloured pencil.

One of my favourites is The 30 Day Coloring Challenge organised by Kathy Racoosin aka The Daily Marker.
In very short words: everyday a little ” me time”  to spend on your colouring/craft.
That’s it!
You can do what you want, when you want, as long as you want and if you only want to look at the beautiful things everyone makes and leave a little love in the comments then it’s also oké.
You can read all about it on The Daily Marker website. Click on the logo above to go there.

I will participate again this year, just because I love it and learn a lot on the way from Kathy.
I hope you all join in and have fun.
